Hannah Finley talks about cancer treatment, softball

Hannah Finley, a graduate of the Millis High, joins host Tommy Cassell on this week’s episode. The Medway resident is taking a gap year between high school and college as she finishes undergoing chemotherapy of Stage 3 Classic Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Hannah and Tommy talk about her cancer treatment including the fact she is now in remission. She talks about the Jimmy Fund and how it helped connect her with others in similar circumstances.

They talk about her work right now, including serving as one of the  coaches for a middle school volleyball team and doing casting calls for acting

She was accepted at UMass-Amherst during her senior year but deferred while she focused on her health this summer and fall.
