The City of Cape Town has just completed an overhaul of the overhead floodlight system at DHL Cape Town Stadium, replacing 360 old floodlights with 1,500 locally produced, energy-efficient LED lights which are also programmable and capable of running full-colour dynamic lighting sequences. The new system will not just dazzle with  exciting light shows but also significantly reduce energy consumption while also  meeting elite international broadcast standards.
