The Purple Mountain Heritage Festival is taking place in Porterville and will run until 24 September (Heritage Day), with a programme which includes  art, photography, ceramics, live music and talks on indigenous herbs and medicine, film, human libraries and walking tours (to scour for indigenous flora).
