Residents in Tafelsig, Mitchell’s Plain, were awoken in the early hours of Tuesday morning by a thunderstorm accompanied by strong gusts of winds which caused damage to properties. Lester Kiewit speaks to Anastasia Tetlane, a resident there whose backyard property had its roof blown off. She also surveyed the surrounding properties and described the damages they suffered.
