Lester’s Favourite Things: Pure Bread

Mpho Mhlanga and his wife Khanyisile recently went to collect their SASSA grant at a mall in Mthatha, and because the mall does not allow e-hailing vehicles to pick up passengers from their property, Mpho and his wife were guided to the nearby taxi rank, but instead of being put onto a taxi headed for their home, they were robbed of all their grant money. The police could also not open a case for them as they had no way to describe their alleged assailants. The kind people at the Star Foundation were extremely moved by this story and project manager Timothy  Blatch joined Lester Kiewit in studio to offer some wonderful news to Mpho and Khanyisile.
