Lansdowne Tennis Club is at risk of closing down if the City of Cape Town goes ahead with disposing the property it is currently based at. Despite being in a poor state, there are still many youngsters who enjoy playing tennis there, and who will lose out if the club had to close. John Maytham speaks to Liuschen Ackerman, interim chair of Lansdowne Tennis Club, about the campaign which has been started to try and reverse the City of Cape Town’s decision.
