It has been 18 years since the Fidentia scandal came to light, and Arthur Brown became a household name as the man behind the multi-million rand fraud with widows and orphans as the unsuspecting victims. Now a court has ruled that Old Mutual Unit Trust Managers (Omut) is liable for R1.7billion in losses suffered by the victims.
