The latest figures for the dams supplying the City of Cape Town have been released and are collectively 2.3 percentage points below that from a week before and 19.7 percentage points lower than from a year before. Lester Kiewit speaks to Dr Kewin winter of UCT’s Department of Environmental and Geographical Science to discuss how concerned we should be and whether it is time for everyone to start reducing water consumption considerably.
