John Maytham speaks to Sabelo Mnguni, the national administrator of Mining Affected Communities United in Action (Macua) about the continued stand off in Stilfontein where illegal miners are still emerging from shafts of a closed down mine. More than 1 500 have emerged over recent weeks and more remain underground. Macua is trying to get the state to foot the bill for the rescue and retrieval operation.
