A number of homes in Flamingo Vlei had to be evacuated due to an ingress of sewage water as a result of a failure at the Table View East Sewer Pump Station. Lester Kiewit speaks to homeowner Tobie van Rhyn, whose house was affected, and also to Sue van der Linde, the councilor for ward 113 (Table View), to get a detailed explanation on what happened and what is being done to prevent this from happening in future.
