Cape Town-born Dr Johaar Mosavel has passed away at the age of 95. Unable to pursue his passion in Apartheid South Africa, he was recruited by Sadler’s Wells Theatre Ballet in 1951 and was later principal dancer with England's Royal Ballet, and also performed at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
