The medical scheme Discovery Health has issued a letter to some of its members explaining that an error in their system had resulted in erroneous coverage for some medical claims and that a process (clawback) of recovering the overfunding has been put in place. John Maytham speaks to Mark Hyman, founder and CEO of MediCheck, which provides assistance on medical aid claims, on why members should not respond to those letters, because they did nothing wrong and because the clawback system does not apply in many of the cases.
