As part of Primedia Cares’ Corporates That Care initiative, Lester Kiewit speaks to Dean Kowarski, CEO of Kauai, about the brand’s partnership with The Lunchbox Fund as it celebrates its 30th birthday. Kauai has committed to donating 100,000 meals to help ensure more children have access to nutritious food, recognising the role that proper nutrition plays in children’s wellbeing, concentration and ability to learn. They discuss how the campaign works, how customers can contribute by scanning Kauai’s birthday QR code, and the wider impact of The Lunchbox Fund’s Food Mama programme, which supports local women who prepare meals for children while earning an income and building skills in their communities.
