Katini grew up learning about the “Power of Natural Flora'' from her mother and grandmother and recalls tumeric masks, the healing nature of raw plants and the “Power in Plants to Sustain.” Katini shares, “sometimes we can’t control the environment where we are in '' and yet we still must be resilient - much like plants in Africa that have to sustain extreme heat and droughts.
