Ben started teenager jobs in school. He delivers newspapers since 13 years old for several years. In 1963, he started an insurance business but the company was taken over. He feels that the future lay elsewhere. He wants to be in control of his financial rewards. His mum and stepfather taught him about work ethic. He was taught about life challenges, life disciplines and how to apply them in life to get great results. He went into football club business when 2 of his clients from the insurance discussed to him regarding football club. In those days, no one owned a club. Through connections and hard work, they are what they are today.
