The Group of Seven (G7), comprising the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan, as well as representatives from the European Union and other guests, is meeting in Canada. Ongoing trade instability as a result of U.S. President Donald Trump's trade tariffs is set to dominate talks. The G7 summit is an event that aims to facilitate a consensus on the biggest global economic and geopolitical challenges and to coordinate actions to tackle them.
