East Africa represents one of the continent's most dynamic agricultural regions, with Uganda positioned as a key player in the East African Community (EAC) bloc of over 300 million people and a combined GDP of approximately 2.2 hundred-and-40 and 40 billion Dollars. However, intra-regional agricultural trade remains underutilised, with most countries still exporting raw commodities rather than value-added products to international markets.
