Turkiye has seen its exports to Africa near 10 billion US dollars in the first half of 2025, according to the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM), with Morocco as the top recipient. Morocco imported 1-point- 8 billion worth of Turkish goods in January-June, leading the continent as improvements in bilateral relations and Türkiye's proximity continued to boost trade. Thami Ngubeni spoke to a Turkish journalist based in Johannesburg, Turkman Terzi.
