The Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry in South Africa in partnership with Standard Bank hosted its 2024 Annual Conference under the theme "Growing SA Business".

The event brought together leaders from government and business among others to discuss the strengthening of trade and investment ties between South Africa and the European Union.

The focus was on driving economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development in South Africa.

The Chief Executive Officer of the JCCI Bernadette Zailer says that due to the interest received from participants, they are planning to have more workshops and trade events, where other opportunities can be unpacked and encouraged.
