The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has nominated Joshua Phoho Setipa, for the position of Secretary-General of the Commonwealth due to be decided at the forthcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Apia, Samoa.
He represents SADC against two candidates from West Africa, Ghana and Gambia.
Setipa is an experienced leader with extensive political and administrative experience gained over 25 years of executive positions at the national, regional, and multilateral levels formulating and implementing economic development policy.
