Sudan has dismissed reports suggesting it has lifted the ban on all Kenyan imports, emphasising that it remains "firmly committed" to maintaining the ban. Sudan's statement follows remarks by President William Ruto, who claimed that the North African country had reversed its decision on Kenyan imports 17 days after the ban was imposed. Thami Ngubeni spoke to Economist Francis Sang, who is based in Kenya.
