South Africa's power utility, Eskom is today officially launching the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA).

The transmission company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eskom tasked with the transmission of electricity in South Africa and will play an important role in managing the transmission of electricity across the country.

Thami Ngubeni spoke to SABC News Economics reporter, Katlego Legodi.

The threat actors claim to have successfully breached the agency responsible for conducting South Africa's census, as well as producing and disseminating other official statistics, like the Consumer Price Index.
