South Africa's Department of Health seeks to introduce a Tobacco Product and Electronic Delivery Systems Control Bill- which will bring a total ban on the display of tobacco products or e-cigarettes at points of sale and the sale of the products at vending machines.
The proposed legislation wants cigarettes and vapes to be subjected to the same regulations meaning that vaping in some public places could also result in jail time.
