This, as South Africa continues to grapple with a severe Foot-and-Mouth Disease outbreak that has been declared a National Disaster by the country's President Cyril Ramaphosa. The outbreak has devastated the livestock industry, leading to immediate trade bans from countries like China, Namibia, Botswana and now Zambia.
