View descriptionShare

South African tuck shop owners and food handling outlets, or those awaiting the outcomes of their applications due to administrative challenges at their respective municipalities, will not be penalized. This follows the passing of the 28 February deadline to register their entities with the municipalities for compliance. South Africa's Small Business Development Minister, Stella Ndabeni, provided this assurance while also announcing a 26-million-dollar intervention fund set aside to support small businesses on Sunday in Pretoria. Thami Ngubeni spoke to Sibusiso Ngcobo of the South African Spaza Shop and Tuckshops Association (SASTA).
