As part of its five-year strategic plan, Sasria, South Africa's (SA) leading special risk insurer, has made use of cutting-edge data analytics to predict unrest, identify risk hotspots, and help mitigate crises before they escalate. The insurer says the data-driven approach will help in protecting businesses and communities from the financial fallout of riots and strikes.
Thami Ngubeni spoke to Muzi Dladla, Sasria's Executive Manager for Stakeholder Management at Sasria.
