South Africa's (SA) National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) has unveiled its National Political Council Base Framework Document, focusing on key political and economic issues affecting workers and society.
The document addresses the South African Communist Party (SACP) and state power resolution, the future of the alliance, the impact of coalitions and the Government of National Unity (GNU), and the broader socio-economic landscape since the dawn of democracy. NUM presented the framework during its National Political Council in Johannesburg, held under the theme: "Strengthen the Working Class to Roll Back Neoliberal Austerity."
