To address the unemployment crisis in South Africa,  the Delicious Festival Trader Academy, FoodBev SETA and CATHSSETA  have announced the new cohort of the 2024 SMME Development Programme, where students will receive mentorship, learning opportunities and vital tools that will assist them in cultivating successful businesses. The students come from within townships, informal settlements and the hostel sector in the Gauteng Province. CEO of CATHSSETA, Marks Thibela says the programme will also assist with startups and an incubation programme that will help the students grow their businesses and make them competitive.
