The Information Regulator South Africa (IRSA) says political parties are not in full compliance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) due to their poor record keeping. The Information Regulator says parties need to have a PAIA manual which is a document a member of the public will refer to see what kind of information the political party holds and how you can access that information.
