Kenya's president, William Ruto is in Beijing, China on a four-day state visit. The Kenyan government says the visit by Ruto will be used to attract more trade, investment, and infrastructure opportunities to the East African country. On the sidelines of the state visit, there will be a Kenya-China Business Forum, that brings together over 100 companies from both countries. Ruto is the first African leader to visit China after the announcement of worldwide tariffs by the US President, Donald Trump. Thami Ngubeni spoke to Dr Alex Kamau, a lecturer and a business consultant.
