Rabbit farmers in Zimbabwe are facing an escalation in costs of rabbit pellets raising fears that many farmers may be forced out of business if action is not taken.
In Zimbabwe, a 50-kilogramme pack of rabbit pellets costs between 25 and 33 US dollars, compared to South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, and Zambia where a similar product retails at between 15 and 17 US dollars.
