The Plastics Pact network meeting has got underway in South Africa. The country is hosting the first in-person meeting with twelve (of the fourteen) national and regional Plastics Pacts meeting. The Plastic Pacts are an example of a Public-Private Partnership which have been adopted by many nations ahead of the United Nations Global Treaty to end plastic pollution.
