The Competition Commission of South Africa has found that PG Glass and Glasfit engaged in cartel behaviour by colluding to fix prices. The investigation, prompted by a complaint, revealed that the two rivals in automotive glass distribution and installation allegedly agreed to fix prices for products supplied to end-users and insurance companies. The Commission has since referred the case to the Competition Tribunal for prosecution.
