The National Informal Traders Alliance of South Africa has joined calls urging President Cyril Ramaphosa to extend the deadline for informal shops, better known as spaza shops, business registration.
Today marks the final day for spaza shops and food-handling stores to comply with the president's directive, issued in response to recent incidents of alleged food poisoning.
