Mozambiques' President, Daniel Chapo, swore in the new leadership of the Bank of Mozambique, led by the new Governor, Felisberto Dinis Navalha, challenging the central bank to combine the preservation of financial stability with a greater contribution to the country's economic transformation. Reports from Mozambique say that President Chapo set out guidance based on three pillars which are,  preserving the gains achieved, correcting what needs to be corrected, and modernising what needs to be modernised.
