The African insurance sector holds significant growth potential, with the continent representing 18 per cent of the global population, yet it has an insurance penetration rate of only 2 per cent.
According to market research by the IMARC Group, the industry in Africa is expected to grow by 6.3 per cent between 2024 and 2032, building on its 2023 valuation of 87.4 billion US dollars.
