Kenya has requested financial assistance from the World bank to help with the shocks to its economy, resulting from the US Iran conflict. According to reports, East Africa's largest economy is one of at least 12 countries on the continent that have reached out to the international financial institution for assistance to handle the turbulence resulting from the war. Besides seeking the loan, Kenya has cut fuel taxes from 16 per cent to eight per cent over the coming three months to cushion the blow to  consumers, but will this be effective enough?For more on this, Thami Ngubeni spoke to Fred Ogollo, Kenyan economist
