Experts warn that the ongoing power cuts could worsen Zambia's already fragile economy

Zambia is facing a power blackout this is due to low water levels at Lake Kariba, failures in the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), a cooperative framework meant to bolster regional energy resilience in the region and the protests in neighbouring Mozambique.

Experts say the severe energy crisis could worsen Zambia's already fragile economy and lead to massive job losses in the long run.
