Nigerian billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote is seeking approval to develop a new seaport in Olokola, Ogun State, located about 100 kilometres from his fertiliser and oil refinery complex in Lagos.
The proposed Atlantic seaport would boost export capacity and ease logistics, complementing the on-site jetty he currently uses to ship urea and receive heavy equipment for the refinery.
