Leading corporate companies whose footprint spans the African continent converged in Johannesburg, South Africa, last Friday to discuss gender equality and gender-based violence( GBV) in the corporate world. The initiative, called CEO Connect Forum, was a collaboration between the Shared Value Africa( SVA) organisation and the KPMG accounting firm. The gathering sought to uncover how the corporate world addresses gender equality, promotes gender inclusive practices, and also how they tackle gender-based violence in various workplaces.
