On the eve of the G20 Summit in South Africa (SA), strong calls are emerging for urgent, fair and well-financed energy development across the continent.
Leaders say Africa cannot industrialise or compete globally without reliable, affordable and secure energy access for its people. These calls came out of the G20 African Energy Investment Forum currently underway in Johannesburg.
