Companies buying or selling a business in Africa must consider the legal position of employees affected by the transaction, according to research done by Bowmans.

A 16-country analysis shows that Angola, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Gabon, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, and Uganda have automatic transfer provisions.
