The High Court of Botswana has today heard the defamation case brought by businesswoman and diplomat Ambassador Bridgette Motsepe, following years of allegations implicating her in a fictitious $10 billion money-laundering conspiracy. Justice Kebonang heard the case and was expected to hand down his judgement. Ambassador Motsepe has maintained her innocence since the allegations first surfaced and is seeking to restore her reputation. Thabiso Lehoko spoke to renowned international human rights lawyer Cherie Blair CBE.
