African Development Bank commits to mobilize $25-billion for climate finance by 2025

Gabon's president, Ali Bongo has called for urgent action to safeguard the continent from climate change. The call came at this week's opening of the 2022 Africa Climate Week in Libreville, Gabon. Bongo highlighted his country's efforts to boost climate action and has called for continuous collective efforts. More than 1-thousand-200 delegates attended the event. The African Development Bank has committed to mobilize 25-billion US dollars for climate finance by 2025.
