A feasibility study published by the Localisation Support Fund has found that, with the right industry development and policy support, South African retailers could source an additional 81 million garments per annum from local garment manufacturers by 2030. The threat actors claim to have successfully breached the agency responsible for conducting South Africa's census, as well as producing and disseminating other official statistics, like the Consumer Price Index.
