Drug trafficking has come in top, followed by financial fraud and money laundering in all Anti Money Laundering events between August 2013 and August 2023. This is according to the 2024 Money Laundering and Financial Crime Report.
It comes on the back of the Anti-Money Laundering week currently underway in Cape Town, South Africa. To discuss this further Thami Ngubeni spoke to Andy Mashaile, a security expert.
