It is said that the June 16, 1976, uprising contributed a lot in the struggle against apartheid in SA.  Biko was murdered for loving himself.

We get deep in understanding the meaning, the role and how the June 16 commemoration can help the current generation propel the future generation to greatness and completely eradicate remnants of colonialism and apartheid i.e. landlessness, poverty, unemployment, gender-based violence, diseases and many more social ills which damaged the present and threatens the future.
