Alina Truhina is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Founders Factory Africa (FFA), a Pan-African venture builder, investor, and accelerator. As FFA’s CSO, Alina spends weeks in the air and on road trips, crisscrossing the world to drive FFA’s growth so that it can support Africa’s brightest tech founders.

Yet, behind Alina’s daily reality as a highly successful businessperson and venture builder is a story of loss, dislocation, and struggle that begins in Latvia during the collapse of the Soviet Union, with this epoch-defining event changing Alina’s life in ways she did not expect.
