Former President Donald Trump criticized Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, stating that Powell's "termination cannot come fast enough". Trump expressed frustration over Powell's handling of interest rates and the economic impact of Trump's tariffs. He argued that Powell should have lowered interest rates sooner and should certainly do so now.
