President Donald Trump is urging the Smithsonian Institution to replace the longtime “Infinity” sculpture outside the National Museum of American History with a 30-foot statue of George Washington. Trump says the monument would better honor America’s founding and has also proposed a multi-year exhibit dedicated to Washington ahead of his 300th birthday.
